GLADIUS
Actor: Tony Todd
Biography:  A slave and gladiator forced to fight for Menas Maxius. Hercules and Iolaus got themselves enslaved by Menas in order to free him, but Gladius had all but given up hope of freedom and believed his wife dead. He helped Hercules fight against Menas and secured his freedom.
GNATIUS
Actor: Jed Brophy
Background: This unscrupulous fellow is always on the lookout to make a Dinar or two. When he witnessed the Enforcer materialize out of the water and kill a man he knew he had a unique money making opportunity on his hands. In return for showing her where Hercules was she allowed him to travel with her so he could rob the people she killed along the way. Eventually she grew tired of him and left him stuck up a tree.
GORGUS
Actor: Kenneth McGregor
Biography: A cruel warlord. He was delighted to find out that his daughter Rena was to marry Hercules, but when his snivelling right-hand man Pallaeus informed him
that she was not marrying the real Hercules, but was instead marrying an imposter, Gorgus tried to kill the imposter, who turned out to be Hercules' brother Iphicles and it was up to the demi-god to save his brother. Iolaus defeated Gorgus and he was brought to justice.
GOTH
Actor: Brian Thomson
Biography: the leader of a barbarian horde that had been terrorizing Naxos. Hercules and Iolaus captured him after he killed Iolaus' friend, but were forced to flee to an abandoned fortress when Goth's second-in-command Bledar led the army to free Goth. At the fortess, Goth met Elora who was an old love of his. He tried to
persuade her to free him. She did not do so, but she did not tell Hercules about the secret escape route either. Bledar captured Iolaus and offered him in exchange for Goth. Hercules made the trade, but during the switch Goth taunted Iolaus and
Iolaus recaptured Goth and brought him back into the fortress. Elora told Hercules about the escape tunnel and they fled the fortess. Goth was brought to stand trial
at Athens.
HADES
Actor: Mark Ferguson, Erik Thomson
Biography: The God of the Underworld, Hades may be harsh, but he is fair and
often willing to compromise. When Deianera commits suicide, he allows Hercules
to take her back in return for Hercules catching the three headed dog Cerberus
for him. And later when he kidnaps Persephone to be his wife, Hercules helps
settle the argument between Hades and Persephone's mother Demeter by
suggesting that Persephone stay in the Underworld with Hades six months of
the year and stay with her mother the other six months. Because of this Hades
is quite well disposed to Hercules and will often help him out providing it
means not bending the rules too much.
HEAD SISTER
Actress: Nancy Scroder
Biography: Finding the idea of having grandchildren with divine blood appealing,
King Thespius decided that he wanted all fifty of his daughters to have a child by Hercules. The sisters had no qualms about this and pursued Hercules who was desperately trying to get away from them. In the end he managed to pass
Salmoneus off to them and they seemed content enough with him although
doubtless Thespius wasn't too pleased. The sisters caught up with Hercules
again at his mother's wedding to Jason, but once more he managed to elude
them
HERA
Actress: Belinda Todd, Meg Foster
Biography:  Hercules' evil stepmother and Queen of the Gods. She resents Hercules
 as she sees him as a symbol of Zeus' infidelity. She cannot kill the demi-god
outright due to the protections Zeus has bestowed on him, but she has no problems with getting others to attempt the task and she delights in amking Herc's life a
misery. Her most evil act was using the fire monster Pyro to destroy Hercules'
family. When she tried to take over Olympos from Zeus, she offered a truce to Hercules if he joined her side. He refused and teamed up with Zeus against her
and the other Gods who had allied themselves to her. Hercules managed to
defeat her and trapped her in the Pit of tartarus with Chronos and the other
Titans. Zeus got their grandson Evander to rescue her from the pit, but when
she returned she had lost her memory. Ares returned it to her and she tried to
destroy Hercules, but in the conflict Evander was killed. Zeus and Hera used
their joint powers to restore him to life and from that point on Hera was a
changed Goddess.
HERCULES
Actor: Kevin Sorbo, Ian Bohen (Young Hercules)
Biography: The world's greatest hero. The son of Zeus, King of the Gods and the
mortal woman Alcmene, Hercules uses his his divine strength in the aid of all
people. His father was never really there for him and Hercules looked on the
centaur Ceridan, who was his master at the academy as a father figure. Despite
this, there are many who wish him dead. Most notably, Hera, Queen of the Gods
 and the wife of Zeus,  she despises Hercules because he is a testament to Zeus' infidelity and has tried to destroy Hercules and his loved ones at every opportunity. Despite the many tragedies that have befallen him, not least of which both of his
wives being killed, Hercules continues to be a force of good in the world and
even today he is doing good deeds, posing as American actor Kevin Sorbo.
HIPPOLYTIA
Actress: Roma Downey
Biography: Queen of the Amazon Tribe that plagued Pithus' village, Hippolytia was
 a servant of Hera who convinced her that all men are worthless and no mercy
should be shown to them. Hercules managed to convince her that in stereotyping
men, she was becoming everything she hated and Hippolytia refused to follow
Hera's orders. Hera possessed her and had her raid the village. Hercules fought her
but refused to kill her so Hera made her leap into a crevasse to spite Hercules. Zeus grudgingly agreed to put time back so that Hippolytia would not have to die, but
she and Hercules would never meet.
ILORAN
Actor: Dean O'Gorman
Biography: Hercules' cousin. He came to ask Hercules aid when Xena's army was
about to sack his village and those surrounding it. Hercules came to help, but
found Xena had been replaced by her even more evil lieutenant Darphus. Iloran
aided Hercules and Xena in defeating Darphus.
IOLAUS
Actor: Michael Hurst, Dean O'Gorman (Young Iolaus)
Biography: Iolaus has been Hercules' best friend for many years ever since they
met at Cheiron's academy. A former thief, Iolaus has long since repented his
unlawful ways and is now a permanent force for good. His happy-go-lucky
attitude amkes him a popular guy, especially among the ladies, but Iolaus has
had more than his fair share of tragedy. Not only did he lose his wife Anya
and their children to mysterious circumstances, but Iolaus himself has been
killed three times. The first two times Hercules brought him back without too
much hassle, but the third time was more complicated. In saving Nebula, Iolaus
was killed by the treacherous Gilgamesh and Dahak took Iolaus' body as his own. Hercules teamed up with Zarathrusta to defeat Dahak and Iolaus was allowed
to become a Servant of the Light in Heaven. Iolaus broke his pact with the
angels however, in warning Hercules of Michael's plan to unleash the Four
Horsemen of the Apocalypse on the world. As punishment Iolaus was
deprived of his staus of Servant of the Light, but allowed to return to Earth
to fight at Hercules' side.
IOLE
Actress: Marley Shelton
Biography: Iole came to Hercules' home to ask him to help her home town of
Gryphon, where a portal to the Underworld had opened. Hercules agreed to
help her, but Deianera grew jealous of Iole and thought that she would try and
steal Hercules from her. In fact Iole did just that, but Hercules resisted her
advances.
IPHICLES
Actor: Kevin Smith
Biography: Hercules' older brother. He was always jealous of Hercules' strength
and believed, perhaps not without reason, that their mother preferred Hercules.
He and his brother fell out and seperated. They were re-united when Hercules
found Iphicles posing as him in order to win the heart of Rena, the daughter
of the warlord Gorgus. When Hercules interfered, Iphicles came close to
trying to kill his brother, but in the end they teamed up and defeated Gorgus.
Iphicles later married Rena. When Jason was forced to abdicate the throne of
Corinth in order to wed Alcmene, Iphicles was chosen as his succesor and
became King of Corinth. Rena died sometime after and Iphicles took his anger
out on Corinth's war veterans sending many of them to a cruel prison camp. Unfortunately the veterans grew understandably annoyed at this and kidnapped
 the King and it was up to Hercules to help his brother yet again. Iphicles
promised to rule Corinth better from then on.
